This is from Conor's 2 and 3 year old preschool Christmas program. As you can see he's a little late on the "Hey!" Just trying to steal the show...it was intentional, I'm sure! Sorry for the bad video quality. Clearly I need to get a real video camera and use a tripod next time!

Mommy's Birthday

My wonderfully sweet husband hung a Happy Birthday banner in the living room before he left for work (at some ungodly early hour) this morning. He also left out a plate of super-yummy, ginormous chocolate chip muffins. He knows me too well - he would never have chosen chocolate chip muffins for himself; he prefers BERRIES in his muffins, if you can believe that! He also left a candle in each muffin so that when the boys woke up (they actually BOTH slept until nearly 7 am - the best present ever!), we could sing Happy Birthday to me, and blow out the candles...that's what this video is.

Twinkle toes...he's getting there...

He's getting a little steadier every day, but still prefers crawling to walking if he's got more than 2.5 feet to travel - it's just easier!

It seems like every time Will does his best walking, I don't have the camera handy, and when I do, I'm by myself so I can't get far enough away from him to get the full shot (without having him fall down), but here's one of his decent early attempts with Daddy caught on camera...

huh...I guess I have a blog now...

Well, it seems that I'm behind the times with my old yahoo geocities page (which I'm still payig $9.90/month for, but haven't updated since Will was born)...everyone has a blog now, and apparently a blog is free (seems to be so far, anyway), and much more user-friendly. So I'm gonna have to suck it up and scrap the yahoo page, but what about all that history? What happens to all those pictures of our first houses, our first pregnancies, Conor's first two years, etc....I guess maybe it's just time to move on and start fresh. But man, I hate to lose all that. I mean it's not like I have all those pics organized somewhere so that I could just easily upload them to another page. Wouldn't it be nice if I were that forward-thinking?
